Organic Belize Black

Belize Black is chocolate at its simplest: one hundred percent pure cacao, with just a little added cocoa butter to mellow the flavour, and no sugar or milk. It’s an intense bar, best enjoyed slowly. Break off a small piece and let it melt, and you’ll start to notice the true character of the cacao, the flavours usually hidden behind sugar in a sweeter bar. The cacao is grown by smallholder farmers in Belize, so every bar helps support their work and the biodiversity of the land they farm. Made in the UK by Chocolate Tree, it’s organic, vegan and gluten free, and lovely with a coffee or grated over porridge.
