Infinity Foods Update
Thank you to all our customers for being patient with us at this difficult time and we are sorry if we have not been able to provide the service you are used to. Given the fluid nature of things at the moment, here is an update on the current situation.
As you know, due to the unprecedented demand for orders over the past few weeks we have had to make changes to the way we are processing and dispatching orders because it was impossible for us to meet everyone’s needs. Please note, if you have not ordered from us for some time, or have not placed regular orders we may not be able to process your order for the time being.
Because of the volume of orders we took the decision to disable our online ordering. Please bear with us, we will introduce this back gradually, but in the meantime please order by email rather than phone and we will get back to you and let you know what we can do. Be assured, we are working very hard to reach more customers, but obviously we need to balance this against the wellbeing of our staff.
Please place your order as early as you can. Many of our delivery runs are reaching capacity to the extent that we are unable to fit all orders onto the available vehicles. Our Sales team will do everything possible to keep you updated with your order status. If we do need to make a change to your delivery date or method of transport we will contact you to seek an alternative solution. Please note, we cannot take orders of half cases or offer our normal service of ringing with out of stocks at the moment.
We are not able to process any applications for new business for the time being. Please keep checking the website for updates on this.
In order to minimise contact with customers and keep everyone healthy, our drivers will be leaving deliveries outside your premises. They will knock on the door but wherever possible, please observe the social distancing guidance of staying at least 2 metres away. If you wish to pay the driver, please have the payment ready for the driver in a sealed envelope. Payment by BACs is our preferred method of payment. Our bank details are on the bottom of our invoice.
In an attempt to ease the strain on our drivers we will be sending more orders out by a third party carrier who will also provide kerbside delivery.
We are still offering a collections service but in order to minimise contact you will no longer be able to enter the premises. Please wait in the yard until you are served.
In order to keep the supply chain going prompt payments will be required. As the level of credit on accounts has increased we will need payments to reduce this to your normal levels. We ask for your co-operation on this as we in turn have vastly increased outgoings.
Please be reassured that we are following all relevant guidance issued by public health professionals. We are complying with strict hygiene and social distancing protocols including increased cleaning and hygiene routines in our premises and vehicles.
With the unprecedented volume of orders we have experienced recently our buyers have been working very hard with our suppliers to keep up with demand. There will inevitably be some stock issues however, so we do ask for your patience.
