Split favas are slow-cooked with onion, a richly layered vegetable bouillon and a warm blend of coriander, white pepper and chilli for a smooth, satisfying result that punches well above its humble ingredients. Spread thickly onto toast, use as a base for a loaded flatbread, fold into a burrito for a proper, protein-packed breakfast. Simple, organic and quietly brilliant.
