This organic whole wheat penne is crafted from one hundred percent Italian durum wheat semolina, sourced from Canosa di Puglia in the heart of southern Italy's most celebrated wheat-growing territory. Bronze extruded to give each tube a naturally textured, slightly roughened surface, it holds onto sauce from the inside and out, the hollow centre filling generously with whatever it's paired with and the ridged exterior ensuring nothing is left behind on the plate. Firm, substantial and with the earthy, wholesome depth that only whole wheat can bring, it cooks to a genuinely satisfying al dente that refined pasta rarely achieves quite as naturally.
