Organic Gingerbread Chai

A house blend kept close for years. Steenbergs base this warming chai on organic Pekoe tea from the POABS and Thiashola estates in Southern India, chopping six organic spices to a tea bag cut and blending them together before leaving the whole mixture to infuse for several weeks before packing. The result is a deeply warming cup of nutmeg, cinnamon, ginger, black pepper, cardamom and cloves that builds beautifully against the strong, malty tea base. No nature-identical flavours, no pot pourri nonsense. Just real spices, blended to Axel Steenberg's original recipe and left to do their thing. The tea for a properly miserable afternoon.
