Raisins, dried apple and figs do all the sweetening, with no added sugar needed or used. Flaxseeds bring an extra hit of fibre and round out a recipe that is entirely plant based, dairy free, soy free and certified gluten free. Activated by sprouting before drying, the buckwheat and sunflower seeds are easier to digest and more nutritionally available than their unsprouted counterparts.
