This intensely flavoured tahini is made from calcium rich whole sesame seeds sourced from Selet Hulling, an outstanding ethical farming initiative in Ethiopia’s Humera District. Their organic methods support both the environment and local communities, from training in sustainable agriculture to building schools and improving infrastructure. The seeds are briefly hot air dried to preserve purity, then finely milled with cold pressed fair trade sesame oil for a rich, raw tahini with a strong sesame edge.
