Pure, unrefined and sun-dried the traditional way Clearspring’s Traditional Sea Salt is crafted with care using ancient Roman methods, hand-harvested from the salt pans of the Ria Formosa nature reserve on Portugal’s Algarve coast. Here, seawater is naturally evaporated by the sun and wind, and the resulting crystals are gently gathered using large wooden rakes. The salt is then milled, hand-selected and packed, with no processing, no additives and no anti-caking agents. Brilliant white and naturally moist, this unrefined sea salt retains all of its original mineral content and character. It’s salt as it should be, clean, natural and full of the flavour of the sea.
