Made by carefully pickling Umeboshi plums with red Perilla leaves, Clearspring Organic Ume Su enhances salads, dips, vegetables, dressings, and even makes an intriguing addition to pickling mixtures or cocktails. Produced sustainably and organically by a 4th-generation family farm in Wakayama prefecture, Japan, where the Umeboshi trees are not grafted and some are over 70 years old. The farm grows Ume plums without any fertilisers, naturally and vegan-friendly.
